  • Bakirci started in 1987 to business life in Istanbul as the sole agency of the world-famous body repair equipment manufacturer Celette. Further than only proving himself as a sales and after sales service company for Celette, Bakirci did also become the leading company in the automotive market.
  • 1987

  • The first Automotive Training Centre in Turkey
  • Bakirci did open in 1991 with the name Celette Centre, the first Automotive Training Centre in Turkey. The aim was to level up the automotive workshops in Turkey to international standards. After installing all necessary equipment in the training centre Bakirci started to organize theoretical and practical trainings in order to realize professional body repair training. 9500 experts and technicians were trained till now in the training centre.

  • The first social responsibility project in Turkey
  • With the vision to transfer European automotive technology to Turkey, Bakirci started in 1998 to realize the first social responsibility project with the donation of a complete body repair workshop equipment package to the vocational high school in Ege University. Hence, young automotive technicians were trained in Turkey for the first time with an academic substructure. This cooperation, which started with the Ege University continued with other automotive engineering disciplines offering universities, particularly with the Gazi University in Ankara. Beside this, cooperations with industrial vocational schools, which are very important for the intermediate production power, are continuing.

  • New Organisation
  • Bakirci, who is expressing his services with the notion “Repairs respecting Manufacturer Standards” and emphasizing the importance of it on all occasions did take in 2002 the decision for growth and started a new organisation.First step was to become the sole agency for new brands, who have proven himself as manufacturer with their authority in the market. By this way, Bakırcı has become able to offer all the equipment needs of the mechanical, body and paint departments in the workshop from a single source.

  • Bakirci, who did aim to offer “Optimized Solutions” for the sales and after sales service departments in the workshop did enlarge in 2008 his existing services equipment supply, after sales service and training with new services like architecture, business development and software. Bakirci did offer this holistic approach as a concept and developed in order to create a difference in the market a new notion. This new notion, launched as “garagineering”, is generated from the English words “garage” and “engineering”. Bakirci could summarize with this new notion all the offered services to his customers.

  • In developing different approaches for all activity fields, looking always to the complete picture and showing interest in building up the details in harmony, Bakirci started in 2015 to offer the “360° Service” concept. With this concept, Bakirci did offer to the automotive market a wide range of services, like new business development projects, strategical / process-oriented consultancy and turnkey ready projects.

  • Authorized Certification Body by MYK
  • In 2016, Bakirci was accredited by TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency) and was appointed by MYK (Vocational Qualification Authority) as an “Authorized Certification Body”. Bakirci did make since then for all 14 different professions, where Bakirci is authorized, 4200 vocational tests and did overhand the certificates to successful technicians.

Aiming to increase employability and the quality of vocational education with this cooperation, TOBFED Academy will offer "specialized training" to vocational groups. Each vocational group will be trained by experts and competent trainers.

  • With 105 employees and more than 30 distributorships, Bakirci is designing and equipping complete workshops mainly in Turkey and in other countries, like Azerbaijan, North Cyprus, Iraq, Iran, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Qatar and USA. Bakirci is continuing his mission on the basis of Manufacturer Standards with the sustainable concept for service totality. The aim is creating added values for his sector and the society. In building up his future by growing, becoming an institution, but always trying to be in the centre of life and to control every detail, Bakirci is articulating himself as a “Strategical Solution Partner”.
